Spring in Catalonia means smoke in the air, fingers stained with romesco, and laughter around long tables—it’s Calçotada Season!

We’re channeling that joyful spirit with our new special: 𝑬𝑵𝑺𝑨𝑳𝑨𝑫𝑨 𝑪𝑨𝑳𝑪𝑶𝑻𝑨𝑫𝑨 — a tribute to the beloved Catalan tradition of celebrating Spring’s arrival with charred calçots, good wine, and even better company.

Ours brings the magic of the feast to a plate: grilled @groundworkorganics calçots, peppery @gatheringtogetherfarm mizuna, white bean and leek purée, pinot gris–plumped sultanas, blood orange supremes, pimentón-almond tuille, and a punchy salbitxada vinaigrette.

Spring has officially sung its return — and it sounds like the cheerful chirp of a robin at sunrise. We’re celebrating the joy of birdsong and discovery in our new sundae special (𝑨𝑽𝑨𝑰𝑳𝑨𝑩𝑳𝑬 𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑹𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑻𝑯𝑼𝑹𝑺𝑫𝑨𝒀).

Meet the “𝑩𝑹𝑰𝑫𝑮𝑬 𝑪𝑰𝑻𝒀 𝑩𝑰𝑭𝑨𝑵𝑨” — our take on Portugal’s iconic pork sandwich, with smoked + thinly sliced pork loin, simmered in white wine, garlic and paprika, layered with a roasted red pepper relish, mustard BBQ sauce, red cabbage-carrot and coriander slaw, and the most delicious piri piri aioli, all on a toasted @grandcentralbakery hoagie. It’s juicy, tangy, spicy, crunchy — basically, a flavor bomb.

This one’s inspired by the no-frills counter spots you’ll find in Portugal — bifana “palaces” packed with locals, cold beers, and steaming trays of saucy pork. The kind of places where you order fast, eat standing up, and leave full and happy. “Comida simples, sabor incrível” (simple food, incredible flavor). People will say “this sandwich isn’t a traditional bifana”. And they’d be right. But it’s so damn good!

This captivating red blend from Oregon’s Willamette Valley, crafted from Pinot Noir, Trousseau, and Mondeuse Noire, bursts with delicate violet aromas, a slate-like texture, and an earthy depth. It’s a wonderful Springtime wine, perfectly suited for a sunny picnic or a wildflower hike in the Columbia River Gorge.

At the heart of this wine is Jarad Hadi—a poet, farmer, and winemaker whose philosophy is that great wine starts in the vineyard. With a background honed in Bordeaux and hands-on experience at some of the world’s finest estates, Jarad practices organic and biodynamic farming on his North Plains property. His commitment to minimal intervention, from the careful hand-harvesting of grapes to nurturing biodiversity with the help of farm animals and carefully curated flora, allows the land’s true character to shine through in every bottle. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐡 𝐌𝐢 sandwich special is a twist on the iconic street food staple, incorporating 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐞 with the 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 flavors characteristic of Vietnamese cuisine. A self-taught chef, storyteller, and the creative force behind @Ruchikala, Kusuma grew up in Tucson, Arizona, blending their South Indian heritage with the bold flavors of Sonoran Mexican cuisine. What started as childhood kitchen experiments—recreating their favorite dishes using their mom’s spice pantry—evolved into a deep love for layered, aggressively spiced food that connects people to culture, history, and each other.
